From Vertigo Tour live in Milan Lyrics: You say you want Diamonds on a ring of gold You say you want Your story to remain untold But all the promises we make From the cradle to the grave When all I want is you You say youll give me A highway with no one on it Treasure just to look upon it All the riches in the night You say youll give me Eyes in a moon of blindness A river in a time of dryness A harbour in the tempest But all the promises we make From the cradle to the grave When all I want is you You say you want Your love to work out right To last with me through the night You say you want Diamonds on a ring of gold Your story to remain untold Your love not to grow cold All the promises we break From the cradle to the grave When all I want is you You...all I want is... You...all I want is... You...all I want is... You...

This is Dire Straits. The guitarist and singer is Mark Knopfler. He made this tune for their first album in 1978 and he is ranked as one of the greatest guitarists of all time. Enjoy! Lyrics: You get a shiver in the dark It's raining in the park but meantime South of the river you stop and you hold everything A band is blowin' Dixie double four time You feel alright when you hear that music ring And now you step inside but you don't see too many faces Comin' in out of the rain you hear the jazz go down Competition in other places Oh but the horns they blowin' that sound Way on down south, way on down south London town You check out Guitar George, he knows all the chords Mind he's strictly rhythm he doesn't wanna make it cry or sing Yes and an old guitar is all he can afford When he gets up under the lights to play his thing And Harry doesn't mind if he doesn't make the scene He's got a daytime job, he's doin' alright He can play the honky tonk like anything Savin' it up for Friday night With the Sultans... with the Sultans of Swing And a crowd of young boys they're fooling around in the corner Drunk and dressed in their best brown baggies and their platform soles They don't give a damn about any trumpet playing band It ain't what they call rock and roll And the Sultans... yeah the Sultans play Creole And then the man he steps right up to the microphone And says at last just as the time bell rings 'Goodnight, now it's time to go home' And he makes it fast with one more

U2's Where The Streets Have No Name Live At Slane Castle

U2 performed this at halftime of the 2002 Super Bowl between the Patriots and Rams. As they played, names of victims in the September 11 attacks were scrolled on a giant screen. At the end of the performance Bono opened his jacket to reveal an American flag in the lining. "Where the Streets Have No Name" is more like the U2 of old than any of the other songs on the LP, because it's a sketch - I was just trying to sketch a location, maybe a spiritual location, maybe a romantic location. I was trying to sketch a feeling. I often feel very claustrophobic in a city, a feeling of wanting to break out of that city and a feeling of wanting to go somewhere where the values of the city and the values of our society don't hold you down. An interesting story that someone told me once is that in Belfast, by what street someone lives on you can tell not only their religion but tell how much money they're making - literally by which side of the road they live on, because the further up the hill the more expensive the houses become. That said something to me, and so I started writing about a place "where the streets have no name." - Bono from Propaganda 5, 1987

One of their B-Sides. It was a B-Side on "All I Want Is You", the last single release of "Rattle And Hum" in June 1989, beside of "Everlasting Love" the other B-Side of this record. Well, I really fell in love with that song. I'm sorry for being an newbie on music, the first version I ever heard from the beginning till end was the Gareth Gates cover and so I got to know the Righteous Brothers version, which is 1000 times better. But this one so special to me, I can't stop listening to Bono's incredible sexy voice. =) Enjoy. DISCLAIMER: Pictures and Music do not belong to me. All rights reserved by Universal Music. On January 30, 1972, British troops opened fire on unarmed and peaceful civilians in Derry, Ireland during a civil rights march. This music video is a tribute to the 14 killed and others wounded - combining video/music of U2, video from "Bloody Sunday" (2002 movie), and photographs from that terrible day.

13.07.1985, London (Wembley Stadium), England Most of top artists of that time were present at this mega-famous festival and Queen of course had to be there. Each artist got from ten to twenty minutes for their show; no playback or soundcheck were allowed. Queen hesitated because playing without a soundcheck is always a risk. But then they accepted the rules and their 20 minutes of fame came on at 18:44 GMT. Queen were on top form and not only according to Bob Geldof and Elton John, they stole the show. They played only the intro to Bohemian Rhapsody (the opera part couldn't be played from the tape as playback was forbidden & there wasn't enough time anyway). Instead of the opera part, Radio Ga Ga followed. We Will Rock You was reduced to the first verse (and the final guitar solo) only. Is This The World We Created was performed by Freddie and Brian only later in the evening. 01: Bohemian Rhapsody (Intro) 02: Radio Ga Ga
